Uses:	Fipronil is a highly active, broad-spectrum insecticide from the phenyl pyrazole family. It can be used against major lepidopterous and orthopterous pests on a wide range of field and horticultural crops and against coleopterous larvae in soil. It is also employed for cockroach and ant control.. Fipronil Mode of action Non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. Also exhibits anti-feeding action. Good residual activity on treated plants. Fipronil Uses Control of a wide range of insects, especially Lepidoptera, but also Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, and other classes,  Control of flies and other insects in animal houses; and mosquitoes, cockroaches, houseflies and other insect pests in public health. Also used as an animal ectoparasiticide. (Only used for seed coating in some dry fields and corn)
