Structural Formula
Biochemistry	Branched chain amino acid synthesis (ALS or AHAS) inhibitor. Selectivity appears to derive from differential metabolism rates.
Uses	Post-emergence herbicide, controlling barnyard grass (Echinochloa spp.), blackgrass (Alopecurus myosuroides) and polygonums in rice, wheat and zoysiagrass.

Pyribenzoxim is a post-emergence herbicide without EU regulatory approval for use. It has a low aqueous solubility and is volatile. Whilst data is sparse it indicates that the chemical is not persistent in soil systems. It has a low mammalian toxicity and is a recognised irritant. It is moderately toxic to birds, fish and honey bees.

Description: Used post-emergence to control grasses and polygonums in rice and other crops

Technical requirements for use:
1. This product is used for the control of barnyardgrass in rice transplanting fields, and the best effect is in the 2-3 leaf stage of barnyardgrass.
2. Drain the field water 2 days before spraying, rehydrate the barnyard grass 2 days after spraying, and keep water for 7 days.
3. The maximum number of applications per year is once, and the safety interval: 60 days.
